Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 cans frozen lemon juice
    3 pt. water
    2 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine sugar and 2 cups
    water; melt over heat.
    Cool and add lemon juice and 3 pints water.
    Pour in ginger ale.
    Add plenty of crushed ice.
    Serves 40.
