German Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter
1 (14 oz.) can sauerkraut with liquid
1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
1 medium onion
1 lb. ground beef (raw)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 large can tomato sauce
Preparation

In large skillet, melt butter.
Spread sauerkraut and liquid over butter.
Sprinkle with rice, then onion, then ground beef, salt and pepper.
Top with sauce (use plenty of sauce).
Cook, covered, over low heat for 30 to 35 minutes.
Serve in skillet. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
