Spanish Hamburgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburg
    salt and pepper
    celery
    1 small onion
    3 bay leaves
    1 clove garlic
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    5 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes
    1/2 c. tomato paste
Preparation
    Brown meat in skillet and drain.
    Season with salt and pepper. Chop celery to make 1/2 cup.
    Chop onion fine and combine with celery, bay leaves, garlic and brown sugar; add to meat with butter.
    Combine and pour over meat, vinegar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, tomatoes and tomato paste.
    Blend well. Simmer 45 minutes; then remove bay leaves and garlic.
    Spread mixture on toasted hamburger buns.
