Granny'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar; add eggs, one at a time; add vanilla.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add milk and flour mixture alternately.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Goes well in cupcake or tube pan also.
