Sour Cream Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. raisins
Cream Cheese Icing (recipe follows)

Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together.
Add egg and sour cream alternately with combined dry ingredients.
Beat well.
Add raisins.
Pour into a greased, fluted tube pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
