Pear Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    pickling spice to taste, tied in cloth
    1 peck pears
    6 red or green bell peppers
    8 or 10 onions
    hot pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat first 4 ingredients to a boil.
    Grind (food grinder or chopper) the last 4 ingredients.
    Pour in vinegar mixture and cook for 30 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal tops.
