Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped fine
2 Tbsp. bacon fat
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2/3 c. catsup
1 Tbsp. vinegar (optional)
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 c. beef broth
Preparation

Fry onion in fat or drippings until soft and light yellow. Add remaining ingredients and simmer slowly for 15 minutes or until fairly thick.
Serve hot on roasted meats.
This sauce may be made up and kept in a covered jar.
