Salsa(Fresh Chili Sauce) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large ripe tomato
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped and drained
    1 large clove garlic, minced
    2 to 4 hot chilies, depending on hotness desired
    1 medium, sweet red onion or 2 green onions with tops
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Peel and chop the tomato and onion very fine.
    Combine them with the chilies, garlic and salt in a medium-sized bowl.
    Mix well.
    Can also use a blender.
    Let stand 15 minutes to develop flavor.
    Will keep in a tightly covered jar in refrigerator 1 week or 4 months in freezer.
    Yield: 2 cups.
