Rose Cake(1990) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. milk
    12 egg whites
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream together the Crisco, sugar, water and milk for 3 minutes on medium speed.
    Beat whites until stiff; fold into batter.
    Tint 1/4 batter red.
    In 2 (9-inch) or 1 (9 x 13-inch) greased and floured pan, layer white, red and white.
    Cut through batter to marble.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Ice and decorate as desired.
