Bird'S Nest Or Eggs In A Nest - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 slice white or whole wheat bread
1 tsp. soft tub butter or margarine
1 egg
salt
pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Separate the egg, saving the yolk. With egg beater, whip the egg white until it forms a soft peak. Lightly butter the bread and place on a cookie sheet.
Mound the egg whites on top and gently drop the yolk into the center.
Bake for 10 minutes or until yolks are cooked and whites are golden. Add salt and pepper to taste.
