Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. melted fat or oil
Preparation

Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix together milk and egg. Add oil or fat. Add milk mixture to cornmeal mixture. Stir only enough to mix. Fill greased 9-inch square or 6 x 10-inch baking pan half full. Bake at 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until browned. Makes 6 servings.
