Corn And Sausage Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. mild sausage
1 large onion, chopped
3 large potatoes, cubed
2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/2 tsp. pepper (if desired)
1 tsp. dried basil
2 c. water
17 oz. can cream-style corn
16 1/2 oz. can whole corn
12 oz. can evaporated milk
Preparation

Shape sausage into large patty and brown for 5 minutes on each side in a large skillet.
Drain off fat and break sausage into pieces.
Put sausage pieces in 3-quart saucepan.
Return 1 tablespoon fat to skillet and saute onions.
Add onions, potatoes, salt, pepper, basil and water to saucepan.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in corn and milk.
Cover and heat thoroughly.
Do not boil.
