Custard Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Slowly bring to a boil the milk and cornstarch.
    Set aside until cool.
    Cream margarine and shortening until smooth; add powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Add milk mixture and whip for about 3 minutes.
