Aunt Ida'S Cranberry Mold - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 orange
1 apple
1/2 lb. cranberries
1/2 c. pecans
1 c. hot water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Squeeze orange; save the juice and the rind.
Quarter apple and remove the core and seeds, but not the peel.
Grind half the orange rind with the apple, cranberries and nuts.
Add 1 cup of the hot water to the jello and stir until dissolved.
Refrigerate until mixture reaches the consistency of egg whites.
Blend in fruit and nuts into thickened gelatin.
Return to refrigerator until mixture sets.
This is wonderful for the holidays.
