Jenny Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    3 or 4 eggs (depending on size)
    1 lb. raisins
    1 lb. pecans (can use less if desired)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Sift flour to make 3 1/2 cups; then sift again with soda and cinnamon, in a separate bowl.
    Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture to make a stiff dough.
    Mix in nuts and raisins. Drop by spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Watch carefully.
