Applesauce Cake(Christmas Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter or oleo
3 whole beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce, mixed with 1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Sift together flour, cinnamon and allspice.
Mix chopped nuts and raisins and dust.
Cream sugar and butter or oleo.
Add eggs and applesauce mixed with soda.
Mix sugar mixture with flour mixture.
Beat until mixed.
Add nuts and raisins.
