Blackberry Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. blackberries
    3 1/2 lb. brown sugar
    boiling water (to cover)
Preparation
    Cover blackberries with boiling water; let stand for 2 hours. Squeeze through a cheesecloth and add sugar to the liquid.
    Pour liquid in an open jar.
    Cover with cheesecloth
    and let stand until fermenting ceases.
    At this time, bottle.
