Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. whole cooked green beans, drained
    1 c. sliced cooked carrots, drained
    1 c. sliced celery
    1 c. green pepper, sliced or cut into strips
    1 medium onion, sliced or chunked
Preparation
    In a large bowl, prepare a dressing of the oil, vinegar and sugar mixed together. Mix in the green beans, carrots, celery, green pepper and onion into dressing and keep the vegetables pressed down with a plate on top. Refrigerate overnight. Drain well before serving. Serves 8 to 10.
