Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 egg
    2 slices bread, soaked in enough warm water to saturate bread
    1 small onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Wet hands with cold water and form meat balls about the size of a quarter.
    Fry until well browned in deep fat or oil.
    Turn into a saucepan.
    Put 1 can undiluted cream of chicken or celery soup over them.
    Simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes.
    Soup will form delicious gravy.
