Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon
    flour
Preparation
    Slowly add flour and make up like biscuits and roll out in small balls.
    Press flat.
    Cook at 400\u00b0 until brown.
