Mama'S Corn Bread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pouch corn bread mix
6 to 8 slices bread
1 c. broth (chicken or turkey)
1 medium onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation

Make corn bread according to directions on the package.
After it has baked and cooled, chop corn bread and bread slices into 1/2-inch cubes.
In a large bowl, mix breads and vegetables.
In pot, combine broth and spices and bring to a bowl.
When broth has cooled, add egg and whisk together, then pour over bread mix and stir gently. Press dressing into greased baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes. Can be doubled as needed.
Serves 8.
