Caramel Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1 box light brown sugar
1 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. plain flour
1 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and brown sugar thoroughly. Gradually add sugar.
Continue creaming.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Sift baking powder with flour; add alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Add vanilla and blend well.
Turn batter into a well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 90 minutes or until cake test done.
Cool in pan 15 minutes before turning out of pan.
