Christmas Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. mixed candied fruit
    1/2 lb. candied whole red cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple (green)
    15 oz. white raisins
    1 c. sherry
    1 lb. butter
    10 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine all candied fruit and raisins.
    Pour sherry over fruit.
    Soak overnight.
    Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs until very light.
    Add flour (reserve a little to flour fruit).
