Pineapple Loaf Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. pineapple preserves
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves, ground
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add preserves, flour, cinnamon and cloves.
    Mix soda with buttermilk and add to mixture.
    Add pecans and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Pour into loaf or tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing.
