Texas Beef Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
    3/4 c. water
    3 tsp. green peppers, chopped
    3/4 c. yellow cheese, shredded
    3/4 c. raw Minute rice
Preparation
    In skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned.
    Drain off fat.
    Sprinkle meat mixture with chili powder, salt and garlic salt.
    Stir in undrained tomatoes, kidney beans, raw rice, water and green peppers.
    Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
    Top with cheese.
    Cover and heat until cheese melts, about 3 minutes.
