Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    salt
    1 small onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 c. flour
    6 to 8 stale hard rolls
Preparation
    Dice 6 to 8 stale hard rolls.
    Whisk milk, eggs and dash of salt and pour over bread.
    Let sit.
    Chop one small onion.
    Cook onion in butter and parsley.
    Add to bread.
    Add flour and mix well.
    With wet hands, form balls.
    Place balls gently in boiling salted water.
    Boil 10 to 15 minutes.
    Place on rack to dry. Serve with melted butter and parsley.
    (After cooking, can be frozen.
    Put in buttered pan to reheat in oven or can microwave to reheat.)
