Apple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 c. lard
Preparation
    Mix like pie crust.
    Then beat 1 egg and 1 c. water.
    Add to pie crust mixture.
    Set in refrigerator until apples are ready. Line cake pan with 3/4 of dough.
    Fill with apples.
    Add 1 c. sugar, 2 Tbsp tapioca and cinnamon.
    Roll remainder of dough and place on top.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Frost while warm with powdered sugar frosting.
