Date Nut Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. Angel Flake coconut
    2 c. chopped pecans
    3 c. Rice Krispies
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. pitted dates, chopped fine
Preparation
    Melt margarine and add brown sugar and dates.
    Stir in coconut. When bubbling starts, cook for 6 minutes, stirring to keep from sticking.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in pecans and Rice Krispies. Let cool.
    Shape in small balls.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
