Walnut Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs, separated
1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. walnut, chopped fine
Preparation

Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon color.
Add water and beat well.
Beat in sugar and gradually add flavoring.
Fold in flour, salt and nuts.
Beat whites and cream of tartar until stiff, then fold into yolk mixture.
Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
