Apple Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. baking mix
    1/2 c. chopped and peeled apples
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk
    1 egg or 2 egg whites
    milk
    sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0. Grease cookie sheet. Mix baking mix, apple, brown sugar, ginger, milk and egg until dough forms.
    Do not overmix. Pour onto surface dusted with baking mix; roll in baking mix to coat. Shape into a ball; knead 10 times. Place dough onto cookie sheet and pat into 8-inch circle. Brush with milk. Sprinkle with sugar. Cut into 8 wedges. Bake 12 to 14 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
