Oatmeal Griddle Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. buttermilk
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. rolled oats
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix buttermilk and rolled oats in a bowl.
    Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight, stirring once or twice.
    Sift dry ingredients together and set aside.
    Add buttermilk mixture to well beaten eggs and blend thoroughly.
    Make a well in center of dry ingredients and add liquid all at one time.
    Stir only until blended.
