Adele'S Fruit Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried prunes
    1/4 lb. dried apricots
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1 c. tapioca (1/4 c. dry)
    1 stick cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    3 apples, sliced
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    1 orange, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. red sour pitted cherries
Preparation
    Soak fruit and tapioca overnight.
    The next day cook all ingredients, except cherries, in 1/2 gallon of water for about 1/4 hour.
    (Wine may be substituted for some of the water.)
    Add cherries and cool.
    Very good for breakfast or an evening snack.
