Easy Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (about 2 qt.) kosher dill pickles
    3 c. sugar
    2 medium size onions, sliced
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Drain and slice pickles and put back into jar.
    Bring all other ingredients to a boil, stirring to be sure sugar is completely dissolved.
    Cool slightly.
    Pour over pickles.
    Let set overnight or longer.
