Corn Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. corn meal
1/4 c. granulated sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 c. milk
Preparation

Measure flour, meal, sugar, baking powder and salt into large bowl.
Stir together.
Make a well in the center.
Beat egg in a small bowl until frothy.
Pour into well.
Stir just enough to moisten.
Batter will be lumpy.
Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0
for 20 to 25 minutes.
Leave in pan for 5 minutes, then remove.
Serve warm with butter and jam.
