Pork Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 lb.) pork loin roast
1 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
1 large chopped onions
salt and black pepper to taste
1/4 c. white cooking wine
fig preserves (about 6 to 8)
1/2 c. fig juice
Preparation

Wash roast and place in baking dish.
Salt and pepper the roast (some use red pepper but that is too hot for my family). Place mushrooms, onions and cooking wine around roast, placing figs on top of roast.
Pour fig juice over roast.
Marinate overnight.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 3 hours.
