Asparagus Supreme - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. asparagus
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
4 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (2 oz.) jar pimento strips
dash of cayenne and dry mustard
1 1/2 c. heated milk
1 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. liquid from asparagus
1/2 c. sliced almonds
Preparation

Make a\tsauce
of
butter,
flour, milk and seasonings. Cook 3 minutes
on
low.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Place cooked
vegetables\tin
greased casserole and pour cream sauce over
all.\tSprinkle with strips of pimento and slivered almonds or paprika.
Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
