Kathi'S Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. minced shallots
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. heavy cream
    dash of grated nutmeg
    12 oz. Gruyere cheese, grated
    1 (10 x 2-inch) pie shell, baked
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Bring shallots and wine to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
    Set aside to cool.
    Sprinkle eggs with salt and pepper; beat lightly.
    Beat in cream, nutmeg, wine and shallots.
