Egg Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 qt. buttermilk
Preparation
    Beat eggs well; mix shortening, baking powder and salt.
    Put in meal.
    Put in milk (if not thin enough, add water).
    Pour in an iron skillet, greased well.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
