Chocolate Chip Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. walnuts
Preparation

In mixing bowl, pour water over oatmeal and let stand for 10 minutes.
Add sugars and butter and mix well until butter is melted.
Add eggs, beating well.
Sift together the dry ingredients and gradually add to the oatmeal mixture.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Stir in 1/2 package of chips.
Pour in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle with remaining chips and walnuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
