1-2-3-4 Basic Cake Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco (regular or butter flavored)
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    4 large eggs
Preparation
    Separate eggs; save whites.
    Mix egg yolks and all other ingredients on medium speed until well blended.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into cake mix.
    Grease and lightly flour 3 (8 or 9-inch) cake pans.
    Pour mixture into pans and bake at 350\u00b0 until toothpick inserted in center of cake is clean.
    Cool completely.
    Frost with your favorite frosting.
