Cherry Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
3 cups flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup apples, chopped - stewed, dried, or fresh
1 tsp vanilla
1 pt maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup pecans, chopped

Preparation

Mix and pour into greased layer pans or 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool cake before frosting.
