Lemon Lime Curd - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 whole, large eggs, beaten lightly
    2/3 c. fresh lime juice
    1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
    3 tbsp.freshly grated lemon zest
    2 tbsp. freshly grated lime zest
    2 sticks unsalted butter, cut in bits
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan whisk together the sugar, the whole eggs, the yolks, the juices and the zests. Cook the mixture over moderately low heat, whisking, until the sugar is dissolved.
    Add the butter, cook the mixture over low heat, whisking, for 10-12 minutes, or until it registers 160\u00b0 on a candy thermometer. Transfer to glass jars.
