Jambalaya Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. each: chopped onion, green pepper and sweet red pepper
    1/3 c. chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian diced or stewed tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
    2/3 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 tsp. dried basil or thyme
    3 to 4 bay leaves
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    8 oz. spiral pasta
    2 c. cubed cooked chicken, turkey or pork
Preparation
    In skillet, saute onion, peppers and celery in butter until tender. Stir in tomatoes, broth, mushrooms and seasonings. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
