Chicken Fricassee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    1 (3 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut up
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
    hot cooked rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a plastic bag combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Add chicken pieces, a few at a time, shake to coat.
    In skillet brown chicken in the shortening.
    Transfer to a 3-quart casserole.
    In same skillet cook celery and onion until tender but not brown.
    Drain fat.
    Stir in soup, water and pimiento.
    Pour over chicken. Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until tender, about 1 hour.
    Serve with rice. Serves 4 to 5.
