Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. apples, peeled and sliced
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in a sauce pan and cook until tender. Mash with a potato masher or an electric mixer until smooth. Put apple sauce in air tight container and place in refrigerator to cool. Top with cinnamon and enjoy.
