Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dry beans
    1 onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 whole clove
    1 lb. hambone or shank
    2 carrots, sliced
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Cover beans with water and soak overnight.
    Drain.
    Put all ingredients in 4-quart cooker and boil several hours or cook in pressure cooker for 30 minutes.
    Season with salt and pepper.
