Raspberry Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
1 (12 oz.) jar raspberry preserves
1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
In a large bowl, combine dry cake mix and oats.
Stir in melted butter until mixture is crumbly.
Place 1/2 of crumb mixture (about 3 cups) into pan. Press firmly to cover bottom.
Combine preserves and water.
Spoon over crumb mixture in pan and spread evenly.
Cover with remaining crumb mixture.
Pat firmly to make top even.
Bake in preheated oven at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Top should be light brown.
Cool completely.
Cut into bars.
Makes 3 dozen bars.
