Taco Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef (3 lb.)
    1 medium onion (2 medium or 1 large)
    1 tsp. salt (1 1/2 tsp.)
    2 tsp. chili powder (4 tsp.)
    1/2 pkg. taco seasoning (optional) (1 pkg.)
    1 can Niblets corn (2 cans)
    1 can tomato soup (2 cans)
    1 can red kidney beans including liquid (2 cans)
    1 small pkg. taco chips, crushed (1 large pkg.)
    1/2 c. grated cheese (1 c.)
