Mama'S Lovers Knots - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/2 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cut butter into flour, baking powder and salt mixture.
Add 3 eggs (beaten), sour cream and vanilla.
Mix together to a smooth dough.
Roll out on floured board.
Cut into 2 x 4-inch strips and make a cut in the middle; flip one end through.
Fry in deep oil, then dust with powdered sugar.
Good.
