1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 to 4 c. unbleached flour
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. butter or margarine

Tips: If you wish, you can brush rolls with mixture of egg yolk, mixed with 1 tablespoon water before baking.
